After he foolishly let her slip through his fingers, he spends three months searching for her, but their reunion doesn’t come easy. The woman he finds isn’t the same one who drifted away without a goodbye. No longer an insecure girl on an Australian adventure, this Laurelyn is a successful musician with a promising career. Her dreams are becoming a reality, and Jack is terrified his American girl won’t have a place for him in her new life. With only a month to convince her otherwise, will it be enough time to make her visualize a life beyond the glitz and glamour, a life that includes him?

“I didn’t know you were awake,” I reply turning my body toward him and caressing his arm.
He gives me a lopsided smile. “I just woke up. How can you be so pretty in the morning?” he muses as his eyes scan my face.
“I’m not,” I groan throwing my head back on to the hard mattress. “This bed sucks.”
He chuckles. “You are,” he replies as he covers my body with his, opening my thighs with his and settling his weight between my legs. “You’re the most beautiful creature ever made...and you’re right, this bed sucks ass.”
“You’re just saying that because you want to have sex,” I say with a laugh as I look at him, thinking the same about him.
He tilts his head as he regards me. “Nah, we’re going to have sex anyway, I don’t have to sweet talk you into doing that.”
My laughter is cut short when he grinds against me, the hardness in his boxers making me gasp and tilt my pelvis toward it.

Review: Restore Me

Synopsis

Navigating the world alone is all Josephine Geroux has ever known. Life altering tragedy struck early on for her. She endured an admirable struggle through her youth and learned the hard way how to adapt and survive. She managed to arrive at adulthood in one piece in spite of it all.

After such chaos, maintaining a life free of complications is a priority for her.
Everything changed when a man with amber eyes came through her door and claimed her heart. She fell hard in more ways than one. The pull between Jo and Damon seemed like fate bringing things full circle.

With another devastating loss looming, Jo fights to hold on to the very thing that brought her to her knees. She finds herself torn between a promising future and clinging to a devastating past.
But that’s not the most worrisome problem on her hands.

She must convince more than just herself to let the past stay in the past, where it belongs, but on her journey to find closure and resolution, she does the exact opposite. An old wound caused by a heinous act becomes exposed for what it is. The truth is catastrophic and Jo is helpless, watching as the ruins of her fragile world endure more turmoil.

Can something conceived from tragedy and malice end well? Can something so completely poisoned conquer adversity? Jo is left to make a decision; accept the circumstances she finds herself in or fight with unwavering ferocity to restore what has been damaged.

*Restore Me is the second book in the Wrecked series*

Review

Where things left off in Wreck Me, I was wrecked mess by the end of it and was waiting for Restore Me, for it to restore my emotions, to pick up pieces of my battered heart and try to restore me the way it was before the book. Right from the beginning for Restore Me, I am hit by a truck load of emotions, my heart kept taking the beatings and kept hitting me hard and rough. I keep trying to find my way out of the mess. There seemed no way but to take what came at me and hope for the best.

Damon was killing me, Jo was killing me, their wrecked life is creating a havoc of emotions in mine, sometimes I thought, "oh man can I handle any more problems in their life?" J.L Mac wrote such an angst filled story, that never fails to tie me up in knots. I finished it as fast as I can devour it, when I got to the part where is says, "the end for now." I kept trying to find more and more, but alas I'll have to wait until Accept Me, now if they would just accept me when I am not okay. According to Dr. Versan its okay not to be okay well than, I am okay with not being okay as long as Jaimi keeps writing stories like this one and hits me from all angles with it.

If I weren't a fan of hers from WRECK ME, I would have said I am huge fan of her writing, her characters, her side characters and everything. But again I was from Wreck Me and I am not any bit surprised with how well Restore Me was. There is such beauty in her writing that sinks into your soul and leaves such an impression that you cannot help but be mesmerized with it.

I feel so battered after reading Restore Me, like I was run over by a truck which thinking about it I was. Damn it! This was one hell of a book! Here is the cue to say, Jaimi wowed me again. Oh man, I want more NOW.

I can't wait for you all to read Restore Me, sit tight, it will be released on April 30th. Which isn't too long until its in your hands!

*Sigh* Damon. I love him! <3 I am so glad I got an ARC!

5 PLUS DAMON LOVING STARS!!! (A million stars wouldn't cover how much I loved it!)

(ARC given by the author for an honest review)

(this is between Aynslee and her friend Sadie)
Aynslee laughed as she said, “My mom never let the girls watch many sports, she said it was too much for our sweet minds.”
“This is the very first time I do not agree with your momma, hockey is amazing and the men are hot to boot. I think I need to give you a hockeymacation.”
Aynslee couldn’t stop laughing.
“Hockeymacation?”
“Yes, I am going to educate you in the art of hockey and you are in luck. Phil can’t go to the game tonight. I was going to take my sister but this is an emergency, we are going together.”
“What?! Seriously?”
“Yes, you need to be educated.”

I want it now!!!! Can't wait till it comes out!!
