REVIEW - THE PAPER SWAN by LEYLAH ATTAR

SYNOPSIS

They say it takes 21 days to form a habit.
They lie.
For 21 days she held on.
But on Day 22, she would have given anything for the sweet slumber of death.
Because on Day 22, she realizes that her only way out means certain death for one of the two men she loves.

A haunting tale of passion, loss, and redemption, The Paper Swan is a darkly intense yet heartwarming love story, textured with grit, intrigue, and suspense. Please note: This is NOT a love triangle.

A full-length, standalone novel, intended for mature audiences due to violence, sex and language. Subject matter may be disturbing for some readers.

REVIEW

"We are a question that hasn't been answered yet, a hiding place that hasn't been found yet, a battle that hasn't been fought yet."

You know you come across a book where you start reading one line and you just know that this is going to be a book you'll be obsessed about for weeks. It has everything that is essential for making this one hell of an EPIC LOVE STORY. This book makes ME want to SHOUT from the rooftops.

There should be another word for obsession that can express what exactly this book means to me. It has left a mark on me so deep into me that it has found a forever home in me. Each word wormed itself into my heart. It's an unforgettable story of genuine falls of human life where finally you find redemption in the unlikely place. Where you find love which is the easy part but staying in love without the outside entanglements is the hardest.

“Whether you say yes or no, you will always be my forever.”

I fell in love with her writing with 53 LETTERS but THIS book stole my breath away. She's a genius. She writes in the most raw, real and achingly beautiful way. Her writing comes from the soul and meets my soul in warm hugs making me feel love, hurt, hatred, loss and at last home.

"How did we end up like this? How did we make a mess if something so beautiful and true."

Life is messy so messy that things never happen in a orderly and right way there is always something that goes wrong however to make a wrong a right is what Leylah Attar accomplished and I'm in complete awe.

“There are no good guys or bad guys. Everyone has a reason.”

Leylah Attar I've completely fallen in love with you. You amaze me at each and every turn. This book will forever stay with me. Anything you write is pure gold.

“We are sand and rock and water and sky, anchors on ships and sails in the wind. We are a journey to a destination that shifts every time we dream or fall or leap or weep. We are stars with flaws that still sparkle and shine.”

6 FOREVER STARS!!!!!!!!!

MEET LEYLAH

Leylah Attar writes stories about love - shaken, stirred and served with a twist. When she's not writing, she can be found pursuing her other passions: photography, food, family and travel. Sometimes she disappears into the black hole of the internet, but can usually be enticed out with chocolate.
