Synopsis
"Sometimes letting someone go is the ultimate act of love."Claire Nixon is a college student with a past full of secrets and heartbreak. She was saved once by her first love, and rock star, Chris Knight. After a devastating year apart and thousands of miles of distance between them, Claire met sexy surfer Adam Parker. With his awful jokes and profound patience, he helped Claire pick up the shattered pieces of her broken heart for the second time.
But now Chris has returned and he is willing and determined to make Claire’s dreams come true—the same way she did for him when she let him go.
With Adam’s former girlfriend in the picture, Claire finds herself torn between the new, passionate love she shares with Adam and the love and family she shares with Chris.
Review
“In the depths of winter, I discovered in me an invincible summer. That’s you. Thank you for being my invincible summer.”
I loved this series to pieces and am so sad to let it go. Going to miss Chris, Claire, Adam, Senia and everyone else. Bring Me Home is the perfect ending to this series. This book brings peace right to your soul. Brings you home.
I want to say to those wanting to know who Claire ends up with, please don't skip to the end, this story must be read from the beginning to the end, don't spoil the surprises for yourself. Savour the story because soon you will be at the end of the book, you'll be staring at the very last word and be left wanting more because you don't want to let go this story. I know I didn't but its time to let them go no matter how bittersweet.
No matter what Team you are, you are going to love this story to pieces because "where you love is home." Claire ends up home in the end. And that's all we wanted/needed. Her heart always was with the very person who is her home.
“Because I love you more than this.” And by “this” he means everything.”
Cassia Leo had all the pieces from the beginning, left pieces for us to notice, some of us ignored or probably was so wrapped in the story that didn't stop and notice. It all came together at end. Cassia didn't leave a single loose end. Which I loved so much.
This whole book, series is so beautiful and touching. -sigh- Saying goodbye is the hardest thing ever.
I love Chris's songs, I always go back to them and read it over and over. From Relentless, Pieces of You and now Bring Me Home. They are awefreakingtasic.
“It’s not our mistakes that define us. It’s the lessons we learn that show our true character.”This story is so well written, the characters, side characters and plot beautifully done. I couldn't stop highlighting this book, they have so many lessons to learn. Some of them are so wise, that I never thought of but lucky to come across it and learn from it. Some quotes were poetic in a way - something I absolutely love.
I am so pleased with this story and when I finished I had this huge ass smile that was so brilliant, I was like on cloud nine. The best thing ever is to have three epilogues from Chris, Claire and Adam. It just tied this book with a pretty bow.
I can't wait for more books from Cassia Leo. She is absolutely fantastic.
“Love is not black and white. It’s not even gray. Love is every shade of color in the spectrum, changing with every ray of light given and stolen. Sometimes you forget how much you love someone, until you realize their smile is like a spotlight shined on your heart.”
