Cover Reveal: You'll Think of Me by Lucia Franco

Synopsis

Luke Jackson.

With his thick southern drawl and seductive charm, Luke is the country boy everyone adores. He has his future mapped out, but his plans with Olivia are suddenly derailed when she makes a decision that blindsides him and changes the path they both envisioned.

As Luke struggles to keep everything in check during a difficult time in his life, he must put his trust in the one person who broke it all to begin with. The last time they saw each other Olivia busted his heart wide open and turned him into the man he is today.

When Olivia returns to her roots just like Luke said she would, he's shocked for more reasons than one. It's been nine years since they've seen each other and when their roads collide unexpectedly, Luke can only push his worry and misgivings away for so long.

Things are different now, they're strangers. And the rope that once bound Olivia's heart to South Fork, Georgia is pulling her back in and forcing her to remember how it use to be all those years ago.

Teaser One

Luke eyed Olivia closely. He could feel how tightly coiled her little body was enveloped his arms. It was written all over her face. She was like an open book to him, so easy to read yet she still tried to veil her emotions.

"Liv," Luke breathed. Olivia gazed up at him with her wide, brown eyes. They were heavy, but full of question.

"Don't think,” he demanded. “Just feel. Let the music roll through your body. Feel it in here," Luke drawled as he placed the backside of his knuckles to the side of her face and began a tantalizing downhill spiral along her damp skin. "And let it flow slowly through your body. Feel the words take over."

His voice, a steady deep hum of intense desire as he ran the back of his hand down her balmy neck and around the curve of her full breast exceedingly slow. Olivia listened to the lyrics as Luke caressed her body with his devious fingers. It was all too much to take. His thumb grazed the fullness of her heavy breasts and then down to her waist, placing his hand back where it had lain before, but taking his time as he did so. Olivia’s body crackled like electrical sparks twitching at the tips with need as she struggled not to tremble from his touch. She shouldn’t be craving the longing of his touch. It wasn’t right, yet she couldn’t control her body.

Not breaking their stare, he lifted the hem of her shirt and began gliding his fingers back and forth just above her shorts. "Let it take you away from your busy life and live in the moment with me,” he tugged her closer to him, tightening his arms and crushing her to him.

Teaser Two

Scrubbing his face with his hand, Luke mumbled “Livy, I-”

“Shhh…”

Olivia softly pressed a finger to Luke’s swollen lips, silencing him mid sentence. She didn’t want to hear his apology. Instead, Olivia rose on her toes, wavering slightly from the alcohol and placed her hands lightly on his brawny shoulders. She could feel the warmth radiating beneath his shirt and then from his palms when he gripped her hips tightly to steady her balance. The heat of his hands seared Olivia’s flesh, his fingers dug into her roughly while a flood of sensations rushed through her body. Olivia hovered closely in front of Luke, her heavily lidded eyes trained on his parted lips as she leaned in closely inhaling the sweet blend of beer and whiskey on his breath. Her heart picked up speed even faster. Olivia met Luke’s rousing gaze for a moment before she closed the distance with her lips and gave the softest kiss imaginable. A valediction kiss.

Groaning in both pleasure and regret, Olivia halfheartedly pulled back and broke the kiss. She licked her lips and opened her eyes to peer up at Luke. Silently they said so much to each other without having to say anything. Desire. Dejected. Adoration. Nothing about the silence felt good. It made her chest twinge with regret just reading his emotions as he squeezed her and stepped back.

It was still there for him.

Walking off the dance floor and past where she’d been sitting earlier, Olivia strode through a clouded mixture of smoke, the husky scent of humidity and the faint scent of aftershave. The cologne stopped Olivia dead in her tracks. That scent…she knew of no other who wore it but Nate. Bringing her hand to the back of her prickly neck, Olivia glanced around the darkly lit bar but was hardly able to get a glimpse of anyone from the mass of people. Nate had said he would be at his mothers, so maybe it was her imagination? Or possibly the amount of drinks she had? As fast as her legs would take her, Olivia high tailed it toward the door and went straight home. Alone.
